‘13 Sustainability Award

UGA Costa Rica has been honored by GoAbroad.com as the 2013 Innovation in Sustainability Award winner at the NAFSA: Association of International Educators annual conference in St. Louis, Missouri. NAFSA is the largest international study abroad organization of its kind.

The award recognizes institutions, organizations, and individuals who are creating initiatives to move the field of international education forward, and to commend leaders in the community for their efforts to go beyond the conventional.

2013 Advisor's Trip

UGACR invites you to join us for a 6 day, 5 night trip on our cloud forest campus over the Labor Day 2013 weekend! (Aug 28-Sep 2, 2013)

This trip is focused on helping advisors better understand the study abroad environment in general and our experience in particular. The trip cost is only $500! Included is lodging, meals in San Luis, ground transportation, and activity fees. Airfare, off-campus dining, and airport exit tax not included.

UGACR Campus 360° Photos

Isaac Martinez, an award-winning Costa Rican 360° photographer, came up to our campus in San Luis to take a number of amazing spherical images on our 155-acre property, a fantastic opportunity to get a clearer understanding of our campus' built space, but also our trails, gardens, and reforestation nursery.

If an ordinary picture is worth a thousand words, then these 360s must each be worth a million!
