Walking with Wolf

Reflections On A Life Spent Protecting The Costa Rican Wilderness

A Book by Kay Chornook & Wolf Guindon.

From the forest of Monteverde in Central America comes the story of pioneering conservationist Wolf Guindon. Wolf was among a small group of Quakers who moved to Costa Rica in 1950 in search of a new life and found it on a wet, green mountaintop in Costa Rica. For the next twenty years, Wolf labored clearing land and establishing a dairy farm. In 1972, he found a new purpose when he helped establish the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. Since then he has worked relentlessly to secure the protection of the wilderness so that the flora and fauna of this vast, beautiful and diverse region will be intact for generations to come.

The farms then sell the roasted coffee to you from San Rafael to your doorstep.
