In 2006, Brooks was hired to establish a comprehensive development program for Open Door Children's Home in Northwest Georgia. With a desire to return to higher education fundraising, Brooks joined The University of Georgia as Regional Development Director in April 2008. Brooks has been an active member of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education, serving on the district steering committee since 1997. Brooks and his wife Chris have three children. |

During 12 years as a stay-at-home mother, Hope began fundraising as a volunteer - first by chairing a $300,000 community playground project and finally chairing a $20 million campaign for a new children's museum in Mississippi. She has worked as a Regional Director of Development with UGA since January of 2007. |

Before fundraising, Julia was a relationship manager in private banking at SunTrust in Atlanta and Northern Trust in Chicago. Julia received her bachelors of education from the University of Georgia in 1998. She started the UGA Alumni Club chapter in Chicago in 2000 and served a term on the Alumni Association board. |

After 3 years at Lovett, Mark became an assistant coach at Georgia State for 6 years. In 1989, Mark returned to UGA as an assistant coach under Hugh Durham for 6 years. He then spent 2 years as the Head Coach at Pensacola Junior College. Mark then became the Head Coach at Mercer University for the last 11 years where he was named National Coach of the Year in 2003. Mark has been a part of numerous building and capital campaigns in his 29 year coaching career. He joined the Regional Development team in July, 2008. |

Will Willimon willimon@uga.edu (w) 706-542-3059 (c) 706-410-5080 Will Willimon is in his fourth year as a Regional Director of Development for the University of Georgia. Upon graduation from Wofford College in 1998, he started working for his high school alma mater as an Associate Director of Admission at Christ School in Arden, NC. In 2001 he began his fundraising career as a Major Gifts Officer at the McCallie School in Chattanooga, TN. While at McCallie, he managed a prospect list of 200 alumni and friends while traveling the country conducting 15-20 visits per month for the purpose of identifying, cultivating and soliciting major gift prospects for the school's capital campaign. Will was also a member of McCallie's Capital Campaign Committee and part of the strategic planning of the school's $125 million capital campaign. |
