By becoming a member of the University of Georgia Partners Program, you join others who share a vision for future advancement. The University of Georgia Partners Program is an enhancement of the Annual Presidents Club and honors those donors who recognize the partnership of supporting both designated and unrestricted academic needs with annual gifts totaling $2500 or greater. A portion of each gift is directed to the Venture Fund, which helps to meet unbudgeted funding challenges throughout the academic year.
Donors may choose to designate the remainder of their gift to:
- The Georgia Fund for general University-wide support
- Any of the Schools and Colleges at UGA
- A particular academic department, program, or scholarship
- An affiliated academic or service unit such as the Georgia Museum of Art or the State Botanical Garden of Georgia
- Athletic scholarships or facilities*
*Gifts to the Athletic Association's ticket-priority programs, however, are not included.
Donors are recognized in special ways for their outstanding generosity. Partners:
- are members of the annual Presidents Club and are included in all Presidents Club events.
- receive special invitations to campus events.
- receive opportunities to participate in a variety of educational experiences each year, including the President's State of the University Address; selected faculty, student, and guest lectures; performances; concerts; tours; and art exhibitions, on campus and elsewhere.
- names are listed in the Annual Report's Honor Roll of Donors.
- receive a one-year complimentary subscription to Georgia Magazine.
- may be selected for recognition in development and alumni publications.
The Internal Revenue Service requires non-profit organizations to provide donors with a fair market value of any benefits received as a result of a gift. The value of any benefit which could affect tax deductibility will be reported to you upon receipt of your gift. Please consult your tax advisor for additional information.
