
The office shares information about the university's people (faculty, students, and staff), research, scholarship and public services and outreach. The office also provides PR strategy, public policy analysis, and speech writing support to key university administrators.

News Service OfficeThe News Service Office supports the communications needs of the University of Georgia through dissemination of information via print media relations, web development services and support, and internal communications. The office develops, edits and disseminates news releases, publishes 38 issues of the faculty and staff newspaper annually, maintains and updates the UGA gateway Web site and assists UGA colleges, schools and programs in the development and maintenance of their Web sites. |

Publications OfficeThe Publications Office provides design support through the conceptualization, design and production of institutional level publications. Examples include annual reports, magazines, and marketing materials such as pamphlets, brochures and posters. The office maintains the University's logo standards to ensure continuity of the UGA academic brand, and provides design, concept and consultation services for UGA colleges, schools, and programs. |

Broadcast, Video and PhotographyThe Office of Broadcast, Video and Photography provides broadcast news media relations, photography support services for news and campus publications, and video support for various special projects including marketing the university. The office maintains an online photography library, and streams video and audio to the World Wide Web. The office provides consultation services for audio/visual productions. |

Television and RadioThis unit operates the university's public television and radio stations, WUGA-TV and WUGA-FM. Each serves the Athens and Northeast Georgia community with first-quality public broadcast programming supplemented with university- and community-oriented programs of local interest. The stations provide opportunity for laboratory and practical experience for UGA students from journalism and a variety of other disciplines. |

Visitors CenterThe UGA Visitors Center provides guided tours of the UGA campus to more than 7,000 visitors annually. For prospective students, the tours are a first look at the university. For alumni, tours are opportunities to reminisce and see the progress of their alma mater. Donors get to see how their support helps to advance the goals and priorities of the university. And, for local, state, national and international visitors, the Visitors Center is the entry point to Georgia's flagship institution. |
