at Oxford
On the other side of the Atlantic, the
foundation has supported the ongoing
development of the University of Georgia
at Oxford program.
Founded in 1989
as a summer study option for a small
number of students, Oxford proved such
a sought-after destination for study that
the program was expanded to a spring
and summer program in 1994 and then,
in 1999, to an extensive year-round
program.
The newly refurbished UGA
at Oxford Center is a stately three-story
Victorian brick mansion in the heart of
the centuries-old city. Colleges offering
programs under the umbrella of UGA at
Oxford include Franklin College of Arts
and Sciences, Terry College of Business,
the School of Law, and the School of
Public and International Affairs.
